Hi everyone
Carolina and I have just returned to Chile after travelling around part of South America for the last 4 months. We did it with a VW Combi and we travelled through parts of Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Peru. It was an amazing trip and this partly because we enjoyed the freedom of movement and the homely feeling one gets from travelling around in one`s own little camper van. We bought it in Chile in January 2011 after it had been completely revised by a mechanic and designer near Santiago. Its a 1989 build and the engine has been completely and utterly revised and is as new. We are back in Chile now and even though we don`t want to, we have to sell it before heading back to Europe. It will be a painful parting no doubt. It is in very good condition having been entirely revised recently and we have records of any works/changes, etc. It comes complete with interior furniture, fridge, cooker, bed, tent, parts, etc., all paperwork in order and basically is ready to drive off. I`m posting some pics of the Combi on this site and on: https://picasaweb.google.com/112431567774054635360/CombiPics# Also Carolina is from Chile so arranging registration/transfer paperwork will be straightforward. Looking forward to hearing from any potential buyers.
Take care and enjoy your travels
Mark & Carolina

Hey Mark,
is the combi already sold? We are very interested. Right now we live in La Paz, Bolivia. When my contract is finished, we want to travel through Latinamerica for about a year. The car would be perfect!
Please let me know.
Saludos, Sue & Claudius

Hi there,
I'm afraid the Combi has been sold now. However we had originally bought ours off this amazing guy near Santiago whose job it is to restore these Combis and sell them pepped up, cosy and ready to travel in. His name is Filipe and his email is <snip>
buena suerte a todos
