Hi everyone,

I am looking to travel to US.
I am looking to stay in a homestay accommodation.
I have few questions hope anyone can help.

What source do you use to look for a homestay accommodation?

What factors do you consider when looking for a homestay?

How was the experience you had in a homestay accommodation?

What do you consider as a good homestay?

Also, other than homestay, what other type of accommodation can you consider when travel overseas? (Economical one)

Thank you very much.

Couldn't help you about homestay though cheap accomodation - you're probably looking at staying at dorms. There are tons of independent ones and Hostelling International (HI) affiliated. Other than that, if you want to go ultra-budget you can try googling couchsurfing. I think they're an organization that you basically stay at someone's house for free - though you've never met this person and you could be sleeping on a bed or on the floor. Reply to this
