Hello,

During late November my parents and I are going to take a trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and also visit Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Though we have been there plenty of time years and years ago, I am still wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding places to visit, etc. in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I have already compiled a list of numerous places, however I was hoping that perhaps someone would know of a place that I haven't thought of or found online yet. I greatly appreciate everyone's help.

Thanks.

We usually stay in a cabin through www.AuntBug . Or, if you want to stay right in the middle of things in Gatlinburg, you might try Terrace on the Water, Downtown Fairfield Inn, Gatlinburg Highland Condos, or Brookside Resort.

Every time we go to Gatlinburg we eat at the Smokey Mountain Brewery. Excellent food, plenty of it and they make a brew there that is the best I've ever had. A nice place to eat and browse around in Pigeon Forge is The Apple Barn.

As far as other things to do, there is plenty. Just walking through Gatlinburg, you will find things such as the aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or not, Crispus Gardens and much more. You can drive around and stop at different shops in the artists section. Of course, driving through Smokey Mountain National Park is great as well.

Pigeon Forge also has several really good show productions. http://www.allsmokymountainvacations.com/music-theaters.html

You are close enough to head over to Cherokee for a visit as well, which is also where Harrah's is located.

If you like trout fishing, there are plenty of places to toss in a line. I believe the reservation in Cherokee may be one of the most affordable with some of the easiest access.

I hope this helps. Have a great time!
