Our local newspaper carries very little on travel and almost always carries "copied stuff" many times only remotely connected with travel. The magazines usually have some great travel articles however they are sometimes quite "stale" and may contain old information. The internet is good however that takes a lot of time too. Please give me suggestions of a great newspaper travel section that has good travel article that are current. THANKS

What about reading the recent blogs and forum posts here on TravelBlog. There are around 200 blogs uploaded here every 24 hours, and many of those blogging are doing it while they are travelling from the various locations.
And if you have questions to ask about travel, you can put them here on the forums.

I periodically read the New York Times travel section - although you have to keep in mind the audience it's written for so occasionally it is either pricey or logistically difficult. But when it's good, it's good and often highlights some lesser known destinations or activities.
