We are a family of 4 (children aged 3 and 4) and planning to go on a road trip (in an RV) from San Fran to Orlando in 27 days in February. We would like to see as much scenery as possible on our way. Could you recommend a route?

I have just joined the Forum and would like to ask for some recommendations. We are flying to San Fran in Feb and will have 4 weeks to drive in an RV to Orlando. We have 2 small children (3 and 4). We would like to see as much scenery as possible trying to make sure that the trip is not too exhausting for the children. We are going to drive along the PCH from San Fran to San Diego. After that we were going to stick to the southern part of the country but it seems more interesting to go north. Therefore, we would like to travel to Las Vegas, and to the Grand Canyon (perhaps through Death Valley). Not sure if the detour to Death Valley is worth it? Could you please recommend a route from San Diego to Las Vegas? Our aim is not to find the fastest route but the most scenic one. We are trying to concentrate on this first part of our trip and then move on to planning the rest...
