Hey eveyone 😊
I´m volunteering at the moment at a wildlife sanctuary in Bolivia, about 3 hours from Cochabamba, 5 hours from Santa Cruz, in Villa Tunari. It´s called Parque Machia and it´s part of the Inti Wara Yassi group. The Park is home to mostly a variety of Monkeys including Capuchins, Spider Monkeys and Squirrel Monkeys, as well as some Big cats, birds and other various animals. We are in desperate need of volunteers a the moment, working with about 25 when we could really use about 50. The work is tiring and we have long hours but it´s an amazing experience to work so closely with such incredible animals. Anyone who can come and donate some of their time will be very much appreciated, especially in the coming weeks. A minimum of 2 weeks is asked for because there is a bit of training needed at the start, but the longer you stay the more you and the animals get out of it.

Hello Emily 😊

Does this organisation charge a fee to volunteers?

I just sent an email to the info address listed on the website. I am definitely interested in volunteering, but don't really have a trip itinerary as to when I would be in Bolivia. I fly into Peru on Wednesday and probably would be in Bolivia in the middle of October. I speak conversational level spanish and also have a degree in biology (along with research on monkey/bird/fish biodiversity), but with an emphasis on cellular biology. I was wondering if I could get more info emailed to me at . Thanks for your time.
