Hi everyone!
I can't wait being on holiday.
These upcoming days I am going to explore the East Cost accompanied by my friends. We are a bunch of 8 friends and we've scheduled the road trip as New York, USA Niagara Falls, Canada# Toronto, Canada# ./ Cleveland, Washington, USA New York, USA
I'm looking for suggestions on destinations that are along our route that we sould really be looking into more! Most of us would really like to see some sports games (Baseball, Basketball, American Football and Ice Hockey)
and do some adventure hiking, backpacking.
Thanks,
Mon
Reply to this Hello Monika 😊
If you have plenty of time, Montreal is less than a days bus ride from Toronto.
I lived in Toronto for a year. I would love to go back there, for nostalgic reasons. 😊

Reply to this Thx. Unfortunately time is really limited. I would rather stay close to Toronto and explore the city itself and love to go the Wasaba Beach and cycling along wine route. Would you recommend that?
Reply to this I am sure not the best person to answer that question. I did have a good time in Toronto, but it was such a long time ago, that I cant remember the names of most of the places I visited. As well as that, I worked there full time, so wasnt free to travel much. I did go to Montreal for a few days though. At that time I was in the mood for experiencing what life was like if I didnt move around so much. ie Having friends that I went out with regularly and money to buy things like clothes, instead of travelling so much and spending all my money on it. Not travelling was my unchartered territory at that time, so I experience to try it.
I do remember how lovely the scenery on the way to Montreal was. So much space, which we are not used to here in Europe. Toronto is a very modern looking city with sky scrapers. On first sight I thought it was kinda ugly, but it really grew on me over the year. I lived right down town and there was a view of the CN tower and some other tall buildings that are often on postcards from my appartment window.
