If you are coming into the park from either the Cook City Highway or from Jackson Hole - expect road construction delays. About 30 minutes extra on the Cook City Highway and about 40 minutes to an hour coming from Jackson Hole to the south entrance.

There is road construction in the park between Madison and Norris. Expect 30 minute delays during the day and the road is closed at night.

There is also some construction between West Thumb and the Southern Entrance, but they are close to done with it - down to painting.

The bottom of Tower Falls is closed for construction - so you cannot get all the way down to see the falls - you should skip it.

A few of the paths around Norris are closed for construction, but most are open. The path to Steamboat Geyser is open.

The wood they are selling currently in the park is extremely sappy - bring your own or good luck with the fire. Reply to this
