thats all got to fit in 2 weeks....then we are flying to vegas for 2 weeks then back to london.
i have been to vegas before so know all about that but i really could do with some tips on all of the other places!!!
there is a long drive from myrtle beach to atlanta....is there anywhere on the way which has something worth looking at?!
Reply to this Annette,
I'm a Nashville local for 10 years and can probably make some suggestions depending on what you are looking for. One thing I definately recommend is to stay Downtown. Any of the hotels on commerce or south of Broadway should do. The Operyland Hotel, though impressive in a casino kind of way, puts you in the middle of nowhere. The real life of the city, IMHO, is in the area surrounding Broadway and 2nd Ave right downtown. This puts you in easy walking distance of The Arena, the football stadium, the symphony hall, the Frist museum, union station, the Ryman auditorium (the original grand ole' opry), the country music hall of fame, and all the honkey tonks and live music venues you could ever want to see. It's also an easy cab ride to other intersting districts such as Music Row, West End, 12th South, Printer's Alley, East Nashville, Midtown, Germantown, etc, etc, etc.
Please let me know what sort of thing you are intersted in and I'll try to make more specific suggestions.
