Greetings, We recently opened a new English portal for Southern Chile. We are looking for people who are on their way to Southern Chile, in Southern Chile, or have recently visited the South of Chile to help write articles and update the information. We really need help gathering info on the small cities and towns that are off the beaten path, and way off the normal tourist maps printed by the Goverment. Even in Spanish, these places get little mention or respect. For many, just one traveler passing through for the day or spending the night can make a big impact on the local economy.

We are looking to connect the people with little or no access to the English part of the internet, with travelers to South America. The problem is that the South of Chile is a Big Place, and we can not make it everywhere on our own. We would like to have your help as you pass through chile gathering information.

We are also happy to respond to any questions either here, on our own website, our via email about Southern Chile. We also are happy to try and put you in touch with the people we know here, that might be able to answer your questions better than us.

More information can be found at:
The English Portal to All Southern Chile

Please post any questions you might have either here, or the southern chile forum at:

Southern Chile forum

Best regards,
Charles Spencer
