Can anyone recommend a good & inexpensive cycling tour operator for West Coast/Utah area?

Has anyone been on, or could recommend a good cycling tour operator for west coast/utah area? I love mountain biking and want to do as much as possible on my RTW trip. I'm happy to do 20 miles a day, but not 50 mile/day which is what some operators are offering. Also most trips are £1000+ which is out of my travelling budget. I was half thinking of hiring a bike when I get there and do my own route, but then going in a group is much more fun. I'm looking for tours around end of July/early Aug.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated!

Many thanks

Hi Clare,

I am not so sure about a cycle tour operator however, I know a place which I would recommend for a mountain biking adventure. Canyonlands National Park, Utah's White Rim road is a 90 miles road (takes more than 3 days to complete).. It is a paradise for cyclists and offroad enthusiasts... nearest city is Moab, UT. I know there is Rim Tours which operates tours there - from a single day to multi-days. However, I don't have any personal experience with them.. so not so sure... you will get plenty of information about other operators in Moab on internet...
