Arrived safely in Caracas, it was a bit stressful when we arrived, a lot of officals coming up to us speaking in Spanish (surprise, surprise) - but our guide was there to meet us which we were very thankful for....

Myself and Ida were like two wet rags after the flight but Emma was buzzing and looked great coming in from Lisbon - maybe something to be said for those LARIUM tablets after all....

Off to Barinas tomorrow more later hopefully.....

Emma, Ida and Cathy travelling to Venezuela from Barcelona and Luxembourg respectively to explore and experience life there for one whole month! We have decided to keep a blog because we thought it would be reassuring and fun to keep you updated with what we are doing. However we've all kind of agreed that part of this trip is to get away from the computer screen and sitting in front of it so if you don't hear from us its because we are doing just that...
