Alice, Dani and myself return to Cuzco having conquered the massive hike through the Inca ruins all the way to Machu Picchu. What a trip. We arrived back in Cuzco around 8pm just in time to get some drinks and start to party into the wee hours of the morning to welcome in New Years Cuzco style.

Thankfully Brett and Ben where at hand to assist in collecting drinks for us when we arrived - so no excuses where made.

Fireworks Central - Cuzco at new years is enough to restart the oldest hearts with fireworks going off all around you and by everyone which was insane and awesome all at once. We did a little run around the main square when the clock struck 12 which is customary to do (while dodging fireworks haha).

Continued to party later on in the hostel which was heaps of fun.

Downside - Alice´s camera was stolen in the madness out of Bretts pocket which isn´t great, but thankfully all good with the insurance etc.
