Just got back to Lima after a crazy week in mancora. That place brings out the party in you. not sure i have hit it that hard for a week, including a nice 24hour session. but then there isnt much else to do there apart from party and lay on the beach...sounds hellish eh!!

the night out on friday was insane. all the bars closed up at about 3 so everyone just moved into the street and some random shop started pounding out music. there were still loads of kiosks open where you buy beer so that wasn't a problem. people were tipping over tuk tuks, climbing over moving cars. hanging off the buses and trucks that came down the street. it was mental, never seen anything like it. and the police werent even bothered!

so now i'm herein Lima and i am getting in some r and r. in fact i'm, off to cusco on the bus tonight...a mere 18.5 hour trip. the buses are the dogs tho so it shouldn't be too bad. and once i'm there its off on the inca trail and up to macchu picchu.

managed to get in some surfing in mancora too. it was damn tough tho partly cos of being hungover but also the board i had wasn't the best for me. bit short and not bouyant enough given my skill level. still got up a fair bit though and it was great fun.

You lucky bar person
Alrite dude, sounds like your having a whale of a time (I hope you haven't woke up next to any!), while we are back in Gib working like little troopers! Not a lot happening here, apart from Greg's leaving. They haven't replaced you yet as no-one has yet passed the 'knowing the lyrics to the wild rover' test. I'm off next week to mallorca to chill out and get away from this place. not as sunny as where you are but at least I won't be at work! Good to see your having a great time and look forward to hearing about the next place on your travel. Adios amigo
