Lake Titicaca was fabulous and the homestay which we did on Amantani was one of the best experiences of the entire trip!

Only way to travel in Puno!

We are on our way to Taquile island on Lake Titicaca

The family we stayed with on Amantani made us hats to wear while we were there!

Lucma, the eldest daughter, is dressing Roisin in traditional costume.

Every dance was the same and lasted for at least 15mins.

The islands are made entirely from reeds, they just keep placing more on top when they start to rot. All the houses are also made from reeds.
