After the non-stop rain yesterday, we were extremely lucky today to have relatively clear skies for our return to Machu Picchu. In fact, other than a few sprinkles when the bus first dropped us off, it was dry the entire time we were there. I am so happy that we waited until today to go back. Hurrah for your timing, that was lucky with the rain! And such alot of steps to go up! *phew* Glad you survived that! Hurray for Mexican food :D Hope you had a safe flight to Puerto Maldonado!

YAY! You look so happy to be there! That's a great shot of you by the edge, were you not nervous? I really like the photo of the little red flowers amidst the stones, that must have stood out. The alpacas look strangely at home at such a height. And so lucky to live in such a place! And the veggie enchiladas are making me hungry. Mmmm.
