I've been staying in the city of Cusco in between walking the Inca Trail and going to the Amazon Jungle. I really like it here - it has a nice central plaza with a cathedral and the Compañia church, and there are Inca walls and ruins everywhere. We were here during the Inca festival of Inti Raymi and there were processsions through the streets for several days. Nearby is the site of Saqsaywaman, a huge Inca complex that is still being excavated. Further afield are the ruins of Ollantaytambo, an Inca town in the Sacred Valley. We also went rafting on the Urubamba River. Rather than boring you with the details, here are the pictures!
