Left the no so pretty Lima for the beautiful city of cuzco. Cuzco is 3700m above sea level, so when we arrived we was hit by altitude sickness. Walking up one flight of stairs sent us dizzy!...It was a real strange feeling. After a couple of days, and a few coco teas we felt loads better, even if we struggled for breath a few times!

We have spent the last few days exploring the streets of cuzco, and a few inca sites - this was training for the inca trail as wherever we wanted to go there were steps or steep hills to tackle...more coco tea!

During the day the weather is HOT, but by night the temperture drops and its freezing!...so one night we decided to get warm by going into a bar...as it turned out it was a salsa night and the locals were teaching salsa! It was great to watch, but even better when Paul asked a local girl to teach him to dance!

Enjoy the pics....

Asbo Sickness...
I'm psyched that you've got all the way to South America and discovered that you've got 'Attitude Sickness' - this must be the repercussions of spending too much time in JD Sports on Bridge Street before you went - Craig

Hi Staf and Paul, Soz I havent posted a message earlier, you know me and technology it takes a while ha!! Glad to hear you are enjoying Peru so far. Im glad you didnt stay in Lima too long, it looked worse than Manton on a friday night ha! Coops is well jealous of your new friend Alpaca, he thinks hes been demoted, Ive told him walks on Valley fields when you return, or runs in coopers case. Anyway wish I was with you because the tasty burgers and fanny tuna looks so appetizing it would be hard to stick to my weight watchers points allowance over there ha! Freya sends her love and were missing you both. Take care and enjoy the training for the inca trail. Lots of love Clair, Dean, Freya and Coops xxxx
