In the days after our jungle adventure, Group Manu met up for various meals, drinks, shopping, bungee jumping (!) and dancing. The boys in our group even wrote and performed a lovely song about our trip, to the tune of California Dreaming by the Mamas and the Papas.

Just made it for the fireworks - this was the very last one. One of the locals said they were for the beginning of the week of celebrations for All Souls´ and All Saints´Days

Mine is rocoto rellena - red pepper filled with meat and veg, served with a papa, or spud. Maria had the alpaca steak. Three courses worked out at about 2quid.

I was reunited with the rest of my group at the fountain in the Plaza de Armas on Monday, after they took the long way home from Manu (boat and bus instead of tiddly plane).

Monday afternoon our group took two taxis to a small adventure park a few kilometres outside Cusco, and watched Thomas fling himself out of a small box from 100m in the air.
