Cusco...touristy town for a reason

I arrived to Cusco from Lake Titicaca and my plan was to stay only a few days. I wanted to get to know the city, nearby Sacred Valley sites, do the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu, and then move on from the very touristy Cusco to the North of Peru where the gringo trail is not quite as crowded. Interesting art! :) These figures are based on ancient ceramic figures excavated from Pre-Incan sites in central Peru. Hmmmm...those Pre-Incans must have had some good times in their day. :)

I went with Courtney to the house of her "Home-stay" family in the Sacred Valley for the weekend.

We went to help celebrate a friend´s birthday. What a party!!!! My god! And this was just the day after when we all managed to emerge from our party-induced coma to do what else...but keep partying! Very fun Saturday night and Sunday. :)
