Prvni rano v Cuence a hned se zase premistujeme busem do NP Cajas, perfektni ukazka tzv. paramo, tedy jakasi ekvadorska drsna nahorni plosina ci step.

First morning in Cuenca and we are moving by bus to NP Cajas, perfect example of paramo - kind of rough highland. We left most of our stuff in our hostel and are travelling really light, just with our tent, in case we wont find anywhere else. Its Sunday and our plan to buy food and water in the supermarket is over - its closed and we have to buy everything in three different shops while heading to the station. Three hours on a bus and we get of at laguna toreadora which is a entrance to NP, buying tickets, getting map and setting off to the wilderness. Cajas is amazing but we didnt expect anything else, lots of lagunas, rocks, plants, trees etc sometimes there is a trout or an eagle and all this 4000m asl. - just astonishing !!! After our trek we are heading to the refugio, where our matresses are ready, we have oru own sleeping bags and after this night we know we bought good ones. for dinner we had our favourite noodles. Before that Stan accidentally slammed the door /also he spilled his coffee and almost killed himself on the staircase/, fortunatelly he managed to find an open window to get in. Also we practise our spanish with another couple from Ecuador whom we chatted for two hours with. We were suprised how good we are. no just a joke, our spanish is just basic, but we managed to say something.
