Day Six: To the JUNGLE!

We spent all of today traveling. It was really cool to watch the terrain change from mountains to jungle. Awesome. I think that’s my word of the trip.. awesome.. it describes everything so well. I am rooming with one girl in Tena, Lynette. We can see the Misahualli river from our window. It’s a tributary of the Amazon. We had soup at our new hostel with dinner. It seems weird to be eating soup because it is SO HOT here. It’s amazing how we went from cold Quito to hot and humid Tena in a 6 hour bus ride.
