Cuy
Sounds like you're off to an eventful start... hope Tarquin looked after you in the Secret Garden (fancy being an Aussie called Tarquin... no wonder he had to leave Oz!!!!!). We stayed there several times. Good you enjoyed Quito and the night life. You'll find plenty of Cuy in Banos. We're in Darjeeling escaping the blistering heat down below... planning a couple of weeks in Sikkim and the odd trek! Enjoy yourselves... when you get further Sth there's a great city called Cuenca and a really nice town called Vilcabamba (we stayed out of town in the hills at a place called Rio Yambala run by a couple of space cadets from UK/US... really nice) from where you can do the "quiet" border crossing into the Nth of Peru towards Chachapoyas and the wonderful ruins at Kuelap!!! Sounds like
...a typical A&A travelling kick off. Of course you'll take these mishaps in your...err...stride. Looking forward to next instalment. East Enders will be taking a back seat for the next six months. Take care VGB

No change there then
Nice to know nothing changes. Ali flashing her bits at the car behind (poor bugger lucky not to crash) and Yeti dancing like a sparrow. Take care and await the next gripping instalment!!
