Sitting here back at Bahia Caraquez. It's been a week since we came back from our moutain excursion inland. It didn't start out as I had planned, geeze....really.... Local Otovalan women wear these strands of fake gold necklaces, interesting to watch them shop.

Went here to check out the leather work, supposed to have a market day on Sunday, but most leather is now in nice stores with credit card signs hanging on the windows, not outdoor market prices....

Had a headache the first two days in the highlands, and then to reach our "cui" dinner, we had to hike again, but was it worth it???

After the photo, the head came off. It wasn't very tasty for ME, as meals go, Robin felt somewhat the same as I. We ate it, but won't repeat the episode anytime soon, if at all.
