Swimming with Sharks???

So yeah....apparently sharks in the Galapagos are vegetarians, or so I have been told by Miguel who owns the house where I am staying. This is a female, but the males have a large red breast which they puff out when mating season is on. I did get to see them from the boat but too far away for a decent photo. Bugger!

and the trucks are VERY noisy. EVERY day of the week starting at 7.00am!

Mum was not very pleased with him as he kept disturbing her sleep wanting a feed. Really funny to watch the interaction between the two of them.

They suggested the wet suit as the temperature changes from on side of the rock to the other but at 26 degrees in the water, didn't really need it.

Had to put my big girl pants on again as there was waaaaayyyy too much water for my liking.

It was amazing!! Can't believe I swam all around it and through the channels. It was very tiring but we had 2 one hour snorkels with lunch in between. So glad I put the big girl pants on!
