Nastastie mame dalsi fotak a kameru. Do Latacungy sme sa dostali bez problemov a vecer sme si zahovorili vystup na sopku Cotopaxi.

This morning we decided to return to Latacunga. During the breakfast we could see our breath because of the morning cold and feel our burnt faces. Our bus was scheduled to depart at one and we still have time to descend to laguna. It took us 45 minutes and it was very dusty. We rested a little by laguna, fed the dog and started to climb back up. The way back was much worse, as we expected, mainly because of sand. Also we met different animals on the way up, who were running down and we have to manage to get out of their way - bulls, sheep, horses, donkeys, locals take them down on the pastures every morning. Almost at the top we had to go throug a narrow canyon where we met a big herd of sheep. There were a lot of them, just standing, looking stupidly and not moving an inche. In the end we used our sticks to make them move and whole herd run down. Some of them climbed up the walls of the canyon and then were jumping down along us. On the very end of our descend we decided to take our last photo using automat. The camera clicked, the wind blew and the camera felt down into the sand and stopped working. Fortunatelly we have another one and a recorder. The journey to Latacunga was without problems and it the evening we booked the hike to volcano Cotopaxi.
