We're scrambling to catch up on this blog as you can see! The last 3 days of our hike were definitely not the highlight, but there were some more beautiful views and only one day of intermittent rain. Here we are again, and this time we are leaving on our last big trip before trying to start a family. We have chosen Africa because of the wildlife, the exotic landscapes, and the price. This trip will be a bit different from our South America trip because we have planned a specific itinerary. We found that the spontaneous approach to travel that we took in 2009 meant for more wasted planning days during the trip itself.
