We have all arrived here in Vina del Mar, here is a catch up from Chaitan. Leaving Chaiten, we got an early morning ferry ride to the island of Chiloe, where we slept overnight at Castro. Leaving Castro the next day we continued north to Chacao where we caught another ferry to the mainland and Puerto Montt, then onto Valdivia on the coast. Maybe I'll stick t my Honda.
'twas maybe a tad snowy/icey but would hav been very interesting. The holdups an things that weren't planed for do make it a more memorial trip. I speak from experience. Pity bout th wheel bearings. My Transalp is still going well after 50,000. Cheers f a gd trip. Zane.
