Like I said, we literally drove into the clouds. You can see the road in the bottom right hand part of the picture, to give an sense of scale.

When Did YOU get here?!

Once we got home I looked at this picture (taken at the airport in Tacna before our return trip), and saw the guy at the right of the picture--tan jacket, glasses, laptop case--since when did my DAD go to Peru!? He's even got the haircut! (Apparently, my photo-self saw him too, because I seem to be staring incredulously at him)
