It only took us about 4 hours to get to El Calafate….getting us there around 9pm. We checked into a hostel and then gathered some dinner and snacks for the next day. We met some people at the hostel that had rented a car for the next day and had room for 1 person….we decided that for a 1 hour drive….we could sit on one another’s lap in the car in order to make a cheap drive.
