Nothing much to report today - it was another long day in the truck (8am-9pm) with no interesting stop offs, other than being held at the Chilean border for ages while they searched the truck for contraband. We were rewarded for our camping efforts with a cute little hotel in Punta Arenas, and our own private room and bathroom!

Today was all about the pastries! Stopped at the empanada bakery again on the way out for breakfast and had a couple of pastries each to get us going. A bargain at 25p each! Lucia also bought empanadas from here for lunch, consumed at the border crossing. Interestingly, while waiting for our ferry and at the crossings, I noticed a number of land mine fields... I didn't get too close for the photo!
