In a city called Arica now. It is on the Peruvian and Bolivian border in the north of Chile. Arrived here last night from San Pedro de Atacama. Since I last wrote I have been on 37 hours of bus rides, eaten by weight in empanadas and have had more sand in my shoes to fill a child´s sandbox! Sand Dunes

I went on a tour (usually hate tours, but sometimes with limited time, they are the best ways to see and do the things that you want), of the Valle de los Muertos and Valle de la Luna and this picture was taken right after I flew down this sand dune. You can get a ton of air with minimal and effortless jumps because of how steep these dunes are. So much fun.

Sometimes tours can feel a bit claustraphobic, so I just pinch people away. It makes me feel better.
