After several fun-filled days, it was time to say goodbye to Sergio, Miri and Elodie as they left to cross the pass to Salta in the Quebrada Country of North-Western Argentina. El Tunel

Built in 1930, it marked the high point of the old road linking Calama with San Pedro.

It's dark in here!

Didn't venture much further, as time was against me and I knew there were many kilometres of road heading in various directions , didn't want to contemplate getting lost in the desert. Not a pleasant thought.
