We are in San Pedro now. I´m posting pictures of our sandboarding adventure. This morning we rented bikes and boards from our hostel for $8 each. Then we biked to the dunes. Tried the sandboarding thing, took some photos, then suntanned for the rest of the time as sandboarding is way SLOWER than snowboarding and we could hardly move in the sand. Perhaps the quality of our rental equipment and wax (a white candle broken in half) was questionable. The bike ride in the desert was amazing as I have never been in such a dry climate before. We were the only ones on the sand dunes. We felt like we were in somesort of children´s adventure novel. Well I did. We´re off to Santiago tomorrow, then to Mendoza in Argentina!

The boards had no heel part to the binding....they were basicly velcro straps.
