Finally landed after a gruelling flight. Time is 4:30pm. Just need to shower and change. Need to get a bus to terminal 1 to get the hired car and game tickets.

What a mission. We had to carry our heavy bags onto the shuttle and then off again. Not everyone speaks english. Lots of confusion, but got there in the end. Got the tickets for the game. Now to get from terminal 1 to Hertz car hire. After a whole lot of more confusing instruction we head to the shuttle rendezvous point. Not sure if we are in the right place because again no one speaks enough english.

Finally the shuttle arrives and enough space for bags, much better. Forgot that it is Friday peak traffic. All we see ahead is the stream of brake lights ahead. Everyone is feeling tired and grotty.

Finally at Hertz to pick up car. The stench of an open sewer is almost unbearable, but the people are very friendly and helpful. Must thank the young man Alex that assisted us. His english was very good, but still issues with translation. We almost cancelled the car because the in the translation we somehow thought that the cost o the insurance was more than the car hire.

Car sorted. Next daunting realisation - the car is a left hand drive and they drive on the opposite side of the road to us. The trip to the hotel wasn't as bad as first thought.

Finally at the hotel. Neil and Priscilla greeted us with food and some refreshments. No for that shower and bed.
