Hey!
We are in Florianopolis after 20 hours on a coach!(14.09.05) It was ok actually, stopped off a lot and managed to sleep! One time when we were in the services we came back out and the coach wasn´t there! Andy was worried! I knew it hadn´t gone and of course it turned up again. It had been raining for 2 days solid! We had to walk around in the rain to find somewhere to live. Got soaked through and freezing. Needless to say spirits had depleted a little.
Today we have checked out Florianopolis (as we are actually staying in Barra da lagoa small town on the east side). Been looking at the shops and still not allowed to buy any clothes!!!

We gave in after struggling to cook nice food and had Mac donalds. For tea we had our boil in the bags (army rations) Best day for food!!!

We booked tickets for the bus to go south on the main land. This was very difficult. We had 2 Brazilians laughing at us and us laughing at them as none of us could understand each other!! So we are hoping to see whales tomorrow! Very excited!

We have had success! We have photos on our site! So go back and look at all the entries to see the photos. Some have more than one. Also we have an online album so as soon as it is fully sorted we´ll let you know.

Thanks for all your messages and comments it´s so good to hear from you all! Thanks to my class for those who have been looking keep reading them!

You don't know us but it sounds like you are having a great time. We are leaving for Brazil on 3rd Oct, so it's nice to know people can survive Rio... Good luck with the rest of your trip.
