I left my hotel in Manila at 6am on the 17th of June. 47.5 hours later I arrived at my hostel in Rio de Janeiro! Or was is 36.5 hours later? From Manila I flew to Tokyo, from there to New York and then on to Sao Paulo from where I caught a bus to Rio and finally a taxi to the hostel. it was FREEZING! and there was no heating! i slept in my PJ´s, my fleece, sleeping bag and blanket! needless to say i woke up in a pool of sweat!

I've always wanted to stand next to the Christ Red! > Not that I'm religious. Massive amounts of water traveling through the waterfalls on the border. Must have been noisey. 5 hrs at the airport and frezzing in a hostel with no heating.... AHHHH - I love being in my home with empty suitcases :) But I'm sure there are moments where it's allll worth it - So on the flipside - I'm ENVIOUS
