I never thought I would be so excited about landing in an airport. Rio is the first place I´ve been in a while, where I didn't have to follow the normal route (cash machine, tourist office, transit sort, accommodation sort, food needs...) as I was met by my Aunt Jojo and Uncle Peter. The waves were surprisingly powerful, perfect for the boogie board that Blaise and Ross mastered. Even I had a successful go!

Hi Babe, went to see an amazing film called Black Orpheus today a 1950's film from Brazil it was so lovely and your there. I wish I was there with you, I love getting your emails, but they do make me very jealous. We'll have to do a trip together some day, I know we always say that, but we must do it L x

Hi Fiona, Ypur world map is turning all red. The red tide seems to be spreading north towards North America. Brazil looks amazing it would have been hard to leave especially with all the family there. Continue with the great adventures and blogs. They sure make my day! Love, Ian
