After this past weekend, now I realize why Brazillian coffee is so strong. So I arrived friday afternoon, only to be greeted at the airport with signs and a fanbase. After catching up with friends, we had a mellow friday night and went to a mexican bar. According to the locals, it's "the best" mexican food in town, but well, being from san diego, it tasted nothing like mexican food.
saturday was spent getting ready for aline's wedding. ( i still cant believe that bryan and aline are married). One of the best thing about brazil is that the services are so cheap. to get a mani, pedi, and waxed, it cost 25reals... about $14US. The wedding was so pretty and fun. It was a mix of a brazillian/american wedding. It started at 7pm, with the ceremony and vows. about 845 we ate and took pictures. then after the speeches were made, the party started. we danced the night away to american music, brazillian music, did the samba, forra ( i dont know if i spelled it right), YMCA. They have a tradition at brazillian weddings that during the dancing (probably about 3am at our wedding) when everyone is having way

too much fun (and for some people drank too much), the bride and groom are suppose to sneek off to their hotel, not to disrupt the party. anyways, we did not get home till a little after 5am!!
