ATTENTION: DESPITE THE THOUSANDS OF INTERNET CAFES IN LA PAZ, WE ARE STILL YET TO FIND ONE WHICH WILL ALLOW US TO UPLOAD PHOTOS. WE WILL KEEP TRYING TONIGHT BUT THEY MAY BE LIMITED. This is very frustrating, as the photos are the best bit, so sorry, you´ll just have to chew over this:- We were delighted to read all of your comments. It really does help us on our way knowing that there are so ... Read Full Entry

Al Humphries
I persuaded Tricia with the greatest of ease to come and listen to Alistairs' (OS Rt) talk on his travels on a bicycle - am sure you have read his books - 4 years it took him to go around the world! He was brilliant and inspiring and maybe this is what YOU will both be doing when you come back....he is finding it very difficult to settle down to a desk job - so just plans more adventures instead! Will back from Belize - it was NOT a holiday - but he looked well! Keep going!

Hey guys, I'm so glad you succeeded in cycling across my country, you're both amazing!! As I told you before, not many would do the same, including Peruvians....and I also think there's someone above looking after you =)

Keep Going Mate
Mate great work keep it up As tiny would say great PF and 'Money in the Bank' We were doing class and won our first 3 league games no tries conceeded! We then lost to bottom of the league in an awful match. then the next week we beat top of the league so it is weird! You would have been gutted to have missed the classy game we played last sat a 0-0 draw! Mate first time I have seen the blogs and actually realised what an amazing thing you 2 guys are doing keep it up! also my one tip would be have you seen back to the future? try grabbing a truck and letting it pull you along!!! awesome work though fellas

Over the Andes the Easy Way
I can't believe how many miles you guys and your bikes have already eaten up. Hope your wheels are still serving you well and not giving you too many problems. Your zoo reminds me of the one in Paris whose star is an ageing yak with dreadlocks. The campsite in your last blog sounded deadful, you must have been relieved to get out of there. You aren't missing much over here apart from rain, wind and cold..... so enjoy the sun while it lasts. The family and I are all very impressed and willing you on. Very much looking forwards to seeing you on the other side. Keep up the good work, Ed

Well done boys, what an adventure! I have been very interested in your travels as Iona is off to South America in March, I shall tell her to tune in! Look forward to hearing the full story when you return! Much love Di x

Boys, I haven't read any of your blogs (until now) for 2 reasons. Firstly, because I am hugely jealous of the adventure you are both undertaking, and I don't want to highten my misery. And secondly because I didn't think that either of you could actually construct a decent sentence. I have just been proved very wrong. I have read every single blog and been absolutely riveted. World class, I imagine Bill is responsible for the majority of it, or at least has proof read anything that Ross wrote, because the spelling's not bad. But seriously, it sounds incredible and its great to see that not only have you been working really hard out there (loved the story of being munched by flies whilst changing Ross' tyre twice! genius!), but your also clearly having a really interesting time and making the most of your free moments. The zoo you visited near La Paz reminded me of one I saw in Mexico where the chief attraction was a starving goat. Your both missed over here. Iv organised a footy game shrewsbury vs fram (where sprake went to school) this weekend, I could've done with you both chopping up at centre back, but we'll have to make do without until the rematch next year. Brydon and Harden are playing upfront together which should be interesting, chances are neither of them will do anything but if they do manage to score then the rest of us are going to have to put up with the vastly exaggerated accounts of their respective goals, for months to come! I miss you both. Stay positive Maggie x
