ATACAMA DESERT
Crossing from The north of Chile to Bolivia. This arid region supports no vegetation at all. We drove hours and there was nothing but sand and dunes.

THE GREEN LAKE - Some of the highlights we saw in the Atacama Desert but closer to Uyuni Salt Pan are this colourful lakes.

THE RED LAKE - The colour of the lakes is given by minerals or weed. When the wind stirs the water, the colour comes up.

Stop to spend the night in the middle of the dessert.The hostel/house or whatever it can be called was half way built up.
-- Having dinner with aou group.. Great people!!

In the desert temperatures go up during the day and are far lower at night. Actually... bloody freezing after the sunset!!
- We wore as many clothe as we could.

It's 12 square kilometres and it's just salt!! you can tell they have spare salt by trying their salty food.

This is the highest town in the world. Walking 1 block is more than enough to get exhausted
