Salty Game

South America » Bolivia » Uyuni » Salar de Uyuni By Kon Bros

Scott and Rob
We arrived in Uyuni late, but still managed to set up a tour of the salt flats for the next morning. We were still travelling with our other Yukon friends, but this was to be our last joint endeavour before parting ways. The five of us spent three days off-roading on the flats and the nearby national park. The scenery was amazing and sometimes other-worldly (this is where they would have filmed the staged moon landing). We loved the salt plains themselves as well as the flamingos and guisers. These three days were definitely one of the trip's highlights. Upon return to Uyuni, we spent a day in the small desert town before getting a bus across the border to Argentina. There are a lot of pics with this entry, but we just couldn't cut 'em. Enjoy.
