The capital of Bolivia, amazing city in the middle of the Cordillera Real mountains. La Paz lies in the altitude between 3.400m and 4.100m. Down there are living rich people working in offices and driving fat cars and up in "El Alto", most of the people are living on the poverty level and coming every day to La Paz to sell on the streets, clean your boots (lustrabotas), etc.... the streets of La Paz are full of this shoe cleaners, if you wear leather shoes, you can't escape (if you have no leather shoes they try to sell you their newspaper, so you don't escape anyway ;), but for 2Bs (30$c) its quite a good deal
