The bus to La Paz was a little less eventful. Actually it was brilliant, seats that reclined right back, all the leg room in the world, oh and sealed roads which was a nice change. We were so tired we slept through most of the trip to La Paz, which was disappointing because what we saw of the trip was amazing. Winding through the Andes is quite breath taking. Apparently some rich British bastard tried to steal this many years ago. But at that time, Bolivia went to war with Chile so he had to split the country and leave his treasure behind

The guide told us that these grooves are where they put molten metal to create joins between the massive stone blocks

This unsuspecting hole was at the edge of a massive 'temple' area. The guide demonstrated that it was modelled to the human ear. If he talked into one side, it was amplified on the other. If we went around that same side and put our ear to it, while he was far away where we couldn't hear him.. we could actually hear him through the 'ear hole', it sounded like listening to him through ear phones.
