Travelling is partly about realising what you have taken for granted. And so for two little New Zealanders, being reunited with a beach after 1000's of kms of the dry rocky high country of central South America was such a gorgeous relief. This dodgy platform would have NZ´s DOC changing their underwear. We weren´t keen to try the overhang - it wobbled. When looking for this cave, Arlene´s quote, "there is supposed to be a virgin out here somewhere".

Many of these Incan structures had a row of thes at the top. Very prety they would have been packed with precious golden ornaments.
