We are now in La Paz, but we just got back from Cochabamba. While there, 4 6 days, we worked with some street kids who juggled and made bracelets for money. it is this organization, NGO actually, run and done soley by this 20 yr old John Connel from new mexico.
John Connel came down when he graduated (kind of) highschool, at the age of 16. he eventually ran out of money, and decided to juggle on the street.
He is an incredible juggler, he took a class at his school...he juggles fire clubs and 5 balls and everything you can imagine.
he made tons of money, and decided to stay.
seeing as he was kind of a street kid, but making a lot of money, he realized that this was a great oppurtunity if taught to all the homeless poor kids in cochabamba.
so
thats what he does.
he makes 150 a month, its non profit, the kids make money, the kids have bank accounts now through him, he feeds them once a day, etc.
its cool
so
here are pictures.
