Finally, in my beloved El Chalten, I got to sail across a turquoise lake, strap on crampons and walk on the whipped cream peaks of Argentina's largest glacier, Viedma. A... Read Full Entry

Amazing!
Thanks so much, Mell. Hope you're enjoying Istanbul. I must admit that I was so excited to see my blog up there and just as amazed to see that 50 people have viewed it. I'm pretty overwhelmed, and appreciate your support so much. Efharisto (thank you in Turkish, if I remember)

"deep indigo to lapis to cobalt to baby blue..."
Tara resplendent in blues...embracing the dream...well done. El Chaltern...also one of my favourite places...looking forward to where you next place your crampons.

Ice hounds
Thanks, Chris and Nicki--that's quite the compliment coming from a couple of fellow ice hounds--didn't you get married in an ice hotel?. On your recommendation, I'm going to put this photo at the top of my blog.

Yes, we got married at the Ice Hotel, it was the most amazing place I have ever been to. I'm flattered that our comment has prompted you to put your picture to the top of your blog :-)

Wow
What wonderful pictures and well written blog. I am going to be in Patagonia next year, so have been reading fellow traveler's blogs on it. Yours was incredible. Thank you for sharing all of this with us.

Natural Mosaic
Great shot. Looks like colored lava flows and reminds me of the animal mosaics found on some rocks in Santa Barbara :)

SB Rocks
Hey Nadav, I just got an email from Paula & Paul, who said they'd left a message on this site. I'm so tech clueless. Looking for their message, I just found this ancient one from you. Thanks so much for reading and responding, and yes, these are almost as good as our SB ones. But then everything's better with a buddy in SB, eh?

Now that I have seen the Alaska ones up close, I can see why you find them so appealing! Stunning in fact. Wow.

Fabulous shot of awesome nature
What a wonderful photograph. We saw some beautiful glaciers in NZ but didn't get so close. How majestic they are. Shall have to add Argentina to the bucket list!
