Day 18 - Beginning of the End (for the truck)

Another driving day with just 300km to El Calafate. However, leaking radiator on the truck, lost Kumuka insurance documents at the border crossing and time zone change meant that it took 7 hours to cover the first 100km. We did however eventually arrive and head straight for bed, luckily for me there was some leftover steak in the truck fridge of which I had 4 pieces. Sophie made do with potato chips. Sophie was thrilled to have a bed to sleep in (having woken up to a frosty morning, proclaiming that she had had enough of bloody camping!) ... and private room!
