That's Just Plain Silly! That's Just Plain Silly! That's Just Plain Silly!

But what better to take away than a silly hat, an Argentina flag, and a series of pictures in a frame.
This is our last entry from Salta. We can't believe it's time to move on already. The last week has been spent saying fond farewells to friends, colleagues and students.

We were invited by Mercedes, our Spainsh teacher, to go for lunch in the rather posh Club 20 Febrero where it seemed the great and good of Salta go for their Sunday lunch. It was beautiful in there and well worth the visit if you get the chance.

We also attended two parties on the same night to say goodbye to our students. At BET it was a very sad occasion to say goodbye to so many friends, but by the time we got up to St James nearly all the students had gone! Still, we got to say farewell to our fellow English teachers.

So, thanks to everyone who has made life in Salta so enjoyable. We will never forget our wonderful year here. Who knows, maybe one day we'll come back!
