Took a bus from Buenos Aires to Bariloche (20 hours). We stayed for 2 nights by the lake in Bariloche with its good icecream and chocolate. Then went on an overnight hike up to Laguna Negra. On the way we met 2 Australians and an Israeli who we walked with and also shared the refugio with a couple from Bariloche. The hike had an unexpected climb up a snow covered slope (it started snowing too) and a very fast slide back down the next day! Then we went on Route 40 (half dirt road) heading South through 100s of kilometres of flat windy land with only couple of towns, funny birds and guanacos.
